I have a ton of pictures of projects and happenings to share cos, of course, my post-writing skills are rubbish.
Birthday and Christmas present galore these past two months.
- 4*6 photo frames (the other one was sent off before I remembered to take a picture)
Both my girls have their birthdays in August (along with my husband, mom, cousin, nephew, father in law and there are name days and anniversaries too in August! It’s a celebration packed month!) but we’re usually away for vacation during that time.
“A” turns 12 this year which also means she is finished with elementary school. Tho many of her classmates will reunite in Gymnasium (the first three years of high school) not every of her friends will attend the same school. “A“ also wanted a party by the sea but that was a wee bit impossible to organize so I offered to whip up a beach-themed party in our backyard before school let out so she could have her friends with her.
The invitations were color-coded for boys and girls in the shape of a flip-flop. (My girl was skeptical about the boys liking the flip-flops but they were received with exclamations of “cool!” and “awesome”!)
It seems I’m really not good with this time-management thing – unfortunately.
I had all the right reasons and best intentions but alas those weren’t enough to make me stick to my “resolution/wish” to post at least one project a month. The only way I can make up for it is to post all the finished projects at once!
So…there was a birthday project, a couple of Valentine’s and a couple of baby projects for me from January till now.
The best friend of my little daughter (and when I say best friend I mean they are joined by the hip!) celebrated her 13th birthday. I made her a word-art card using my Cameo and a cupcake box from Svgcuts’ Happy Birthday kit. I used First Edition’s Bella Rose Premium Paper Pad cos they have the sturdiest patterned paper. The top layer was pop-dotted on the card base (on three sides of the base the word-art shaped the card.)
